Aidan Quinn puts ranching plans on hold to pursue NFL dreams

CARBONDALE, Ill. — Before he sets off on a career as a rancher, Southern Illinois tight end and Agribusiness major Aidan Quinn is taking his shot at the National Football League.
Quinn (2021-25) played five seasons for the Salukis and caught 44 career passes for 524 yards and four touchdowns. He helped lead Southern to a pair of FCS Playoff appearances and now he's trying to put an exclamation point on his career by taking a shot at the NFL.
